I began taking piano lessons when I was 4 years old and at a young age, I remember wanting to one day teach piano. I studied with excellent teachers who helped me achieve exams through the Royal Conservatory of Music.  In 2007 I completed my Elementary Teacher designation from the Royal Conservatory of Music.

When I was in high school, I had the opportunity to have Ken Fleet at Medway High School for my vocal teacher and choir conductor for 5 years.  During this time, he always told students to "Find your song".  He encouraged students to follow their dreams!  I knew that I wanted to help students "Find their song".  At my studio, we work on a solid musical foundation of technique, theory, practical playing along with fun, games and support.

I began teaching piano in 2001 where I provided in-home piano lessons in the London and Lucan area.  In 2006 I opened my piano studio in Lucan, Ontario where I taught for 6 years.

​

After a hiatus to start our family, my Thamesford, Ontario music studio opened in September 2018.  I am excited to have the opportunity to be able to share my love of the piano and music with my students and their families.

​

In 2026, I will be celebrating 25 years of teaching students of all ages and look forward to many more years helping you find your song, one note at a time!
